My Feathered Friends

Kinship with my avian friends
Reminds me of my desire for
FREEDOM
Love of the ingenuity of my feathered friends
Reminds me of my desire for
INSPIRATION
Warmth of the black cloak of inky wings
Reminds me of my desire for
PROTECTION
Vocal embrace of self-expression
Call of my cawing friends
Reminds me of my desire to be
HEARD
The keen-eyed intellect of my avian friends
Reminds me of my desire to
TEACH & LEARN!
Oh,
How I appreciate all that my
Feathered friends give me,
As I deepen my connection with
Their beautiful souls!
